Using HT speakers for TV?

To use the TV tuner or HDMI input to the TV from another source (such as your set top box) with the HT, you must connect TV optical output to HT optical input. If the set top box doesn't have HDMI output connected to the TV, then you must connect its optical (preferred) or RCA stereo outputs to the HT input and you won't be able to use the HT with the TV's built in tuner. This type of HT system is not very flexible.
