For those of you who thank Jesus died on a cross?

It is historically accurate that Romans used crosses as their form of execution at that time and in that area....The Romans were in charge of the executions as the area was under Roman occupation..... the exact from of the instrument is not known..... there were differing configurations........ the cross being the most used according to the records...... that is why it is used as a remembrance of Christ's Sacrifice for us...... sometime a cross piece was tied to a tree..... so those verses are not a ny contradiction..... it would still have made the form of The Cross
